BUSINESS WRITING POWERED BY CO-INTELLIGENCE

Generative AI has transformed the way we write in business, but at its core strong writing is still about a human connecting with another human. Taking the co-intelligence approach, the Eloquence Essentials business writing workshop cultivates human skills so your writing lands successfully with your audience, while also giving you the tools and confidence to drive, train and critically assess generative AI.

BE THE HUMAN IN THE LOOP

  • focus on the human skills that are critical for your business writing to achieve its purpose

  • understand the nuances of writing for your particular audience to bring them on board with your message

  • build connection and rapport with your audience by writing in a natural and authentic way.

GENERATIVE AI AS A SPRINGBOARD

  • boost productivity and performance with an educated approach to writing with AI (avoid false productivity and red flags)

  • learn effective ways to engage with AI as a co-worker, editor and writing coach

  • refine, train and continually improve generative AI’s capabilities to support your business writing.

CUSTOMISED PROGRAMS AND COACHING

Every Eloquence Essentials workshop is customised for your team, integrating specific examples and activities that directly relate to the writing people produce at work. Participants bring examples of their own writing so they can immediately apply their new skills and insights. All participants receive a 70-page colour workbook with workshop materials, reference guides and checklists.

Eloquence also offers masterclasses and one-on-one writing coaching.

Anneli draws upon a breadth of experience in creating and delivering the Eloquence workshops. She has worked as an intellectual property lawyer at global firm Ashurst, in various roles at stockbroking firm Goldman Sachs JBWere, as a staff reporter at Sydney Morning Herald, and at tech start-up RedBubble from the beta phase through to its successful launch. She has authored popular blogs for Fairfax Media, including personal finance blog Well Heeled and travel blog Red Letters, and has written website content for social ventures, start-ups and corporate clients.

Anneli has taught journalism and writing at the University of Technology, Sydney, the Northern Rivers Writers’ Centre and the Byron Writers Festival, and has created curriculum for the Melbourne Polytechnic Bachelor of Creative Writing program. She has delivered tailored media training programs to industry groups and small business clients and been invited to speak at events including the Walkley Foundation annual conference and a private luncheon at TEDxSydney.

Creating and delivering the Eloquence workshops is a natural extension of Anneli’s long-standing commitment to education. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Bachelor of Commerce (finance major), Master of Arts (Journalism) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Creative Writing).

Writing is not only Anneli’s profession, but also a passion. She was a board member of Byron Writers Festival and also chaired author panels during the event, she co-authored the book Flirting with Finance (Fairfax Books), contributed to the travel collection Holiday Goddess Handbag Guide (Harper Collins), edited speakers' talks for TEDxByronBay, and is an avid reader of fiction and books on the art and science of writing.

Anneli created the Eloquence workshops to combine her expertise in writing and teaching, to inspire an appreciation and awareness of eloquent writing among individual participants, and to enable companies to improve their business outcomes by instilling a workplace culture of powerful, persuasive, articulate writing.
